
I hold a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University at Buffalo (SUNY) and currently teach at SUNY Niagara, where I am committed to excellence in teaching. Additionally, I am completing an M.S. in Inclusive Education at Daemen University, further expanding my expertise in pedagogy and equity.
My doctoral dissertation offers a metaphysical account of economic transactions. This work is a first step towards the development of a computational ontology of finance compatible with Basic Formal Ontology (BFO), the upper-level ontology developed by Barry Smith and his associates. My research sits at the intersection of Social Metaphysics, Philosophy of Computing and AI, and Applied Ontology.
I come from Italy, and I received my B.A. and M.A. at the University of Turin. I am a first-generation lyceum and college student.
When I do not do philosophy, I like cooking and working at crochet; I am fond of cats.
